What is manual therapy?
Manual Therapy is the skilled application of hands-on techniques used to restore mobility in the body. Our therapists use manual therapy on joints, muscles, fascia, and other tissues to improve the mobility and restore motion leading to restored function. Often times, when manual therapy is used it will relieve pain and stiffness.
Will my therapist use manual therapy?
Your therapist will do a detailed and individualized evaluation. If manual therapy is warranted, your therapist will use manual therapy in your treatments in order to relieve pain and improve motion.
Do you use any tools to help with mobility?
Our staff uses many tools to help with mobility including but not limited to: massage guns, IASTM tools for scraping, cupping, kinesiotaping, strapping, muscle release tools, and many other methods. Our toolbox is full of techniques to help with joint and tissue mobility.
