Larissa Sorrells, PT, DPT is a physical therapist and athletic trainer. She is also a lifelong Beardstown resident. She graduated in 2012 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Southwest Baptist University. Prior to her doctorate, she earned a bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from Culver-Stockton College. She has worked in outpatient physical therapy for over 10 years and specializes in orthopedic injuries, sports injuries, and neck and back pain. Her training continued as a physical therapist, gaining certification in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), kinesiotaping, Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist (CEAS), and she loves to educate patients and other therapists whenever she is able. She has a passion for finding the root of the problem and helping patients alleviate the issue from the source. She lives in Beardstown with her husband, Josh, who is currently the principal at Beardstown Junior/Senior High school, and her two boys, Tucker and Bo. She loves watching her boys play sports, planning imaginary vacations, and spending time with family.
Carley earned a master’s degree in occupational therapy from Maryville University in 2010. She is a certified lymphedema therapist (CLT). As a CLT she provides complete decongestive therapy to patients with lymphedema or other chronic swelling conditions. Carley is also a certified hand therapist specializing in the assessment and treatment of a wide range of injuries and conditions that limit functional use of the upper extremity. Certified hand therapists have achieved the highest recognition of competency in the profession of upper limb rehabilitation. Carley has earned the distinguished CHT designation after completing all required examinations and clinical studies including over 4000 treatment hours as a hand therapist. CHT's are advanced practice specialists in their field. Carley resides in Beardstown with her husband and 2 daughters. She enjoys crafting, spending time with family and escaping to the beach whenever possible.

Amy Elam is a physical therapy assistant. She was born and raised in the Beardstown community and has been doing physical therapy for over 10 years. She graduated from Illinois Central College in 2012 with her associates degree to become a physical therapy assistant. Amy specializes in mobility issues, orthopedic pain and treatments, and has many years of experience with different patient populations. When she's not at the clinic, Amy is riding horses as a member of the National Reigning Association. She is a two time world champion in Reigning and knows the importance of rehabilitation after an injury to help you return to your hobbies.
Scott Marshall is a physical therapist from Jacksonville, Illinois. He graduated from Washington University with a master's degree in Physical Therapy. He specializes in orthopedics and vestibular rehab (dizziness), as well as neuro and balance. He enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife and 3 daughters, and is passionate about helping patients return to better function. He will begin seeing patients in our Beardstown office in January 2024.
